Tevahine Hioe Pōrīnetia Ma'ohi [Chaplain]
Church: EPM
It is with joy and humility that I introduce myself. I am Chaplain Tevahine HIOE, a Māòhi woman, mother of three boys, and have been engaged in ministry for over 20 years, especially with children and youth. Nurtured in the faith within the Etāretia Porotetani Māòhi and trained in theology with my late husband, Pastor Tauatiau, I now devote my service to school chaplaincy within the Etāretia Porotetani Māòhi.
My commitment is rooted in a deep conviction: every child carries a light and deserves to be accompanied with love, respect, and hope. Through an approach that honors culture, community, and transmission, I seek to connect faith, identity, and education.
I look forward to sharing, learning, and growing together in this meaningful journey.

Tevahine will be sharing about Chaplaincy with children and their families in the context of French influences and education in the Pacific. As EPM seeks to strengthen Māòhi language and identification with Atua (land) and Moana (sea), the role of Chaplains in nurturing spirituality is evolving.
