Sharon Lloyd

Sharon Lloyd        United Kingdom

My name is Sharon Lloyd and I will be 50 this year! I live in Surrey in the UK with my husband Duncan, son Rhys, daughter Vanessa, my cat Marble and dog Biscuit.

I was brought up as a Christian within Church of England but now worship in a Methodist Church, where I am also a local preacher and work as a Programe Officer for Children Youth and Intergenerational Discipleship within the United Reformed Church.

My role includes creating and overseeing content and training for and to support all whose ministry is within Children, Youth and Intergenerational. One such resource is a weekly curriculum called Faith Adventures designed for 0 to 11 and 11 to 14s.

I qualified as a Nursery nurse when I was 22 and have worked since,  in schools,  nursery's and as a children and family worker of a local church before beginning my role at the URC four years ago.

I enjoy craft, reading, and paddleboard with my husband.

See what Sharon gets up to - making Bags of Welcome - or at least training people to do so!
