(Rev Dr) Amelia Koh-Butler is the Council for World Mission's
Mission Secretary for Education Formation Empowerment AND the Pacific Region.

A Minister from the Uniting Church in Australia, she has a heart for mission and extensive experience in Christian Education, Creative Arts and formation for mission and ministry.
Formerly Director of The ELM Centre (Education for Life and Ministry) in Sydney, Executive Director of Mission in South Australia, and Senior Minister in various pastoral charges (including Fijian Samoan, Korean, Chinese, and multicultural congregations. Amelia was also Multi-faith Universities Chaplain and Senior Supervisor of Ministry Candidates for the Uniting Church.

Her doctoral work at Fuller Seminary was in Intercultural Liminality and Communitas - which means she is interested in how God calls very different people together to bring about God's purposes, often without us even realising! She has authored multiple scholarly missiology articles and chapters and has monographs of poetry and liturgical resources. She has been a lecturer in Missiology and Christian Education for Charles Sturt, Sydney and Flinders Universities and multiple Theological Colleges in Australia, USA, and the Philippines.
   
Amelia is a widow, lives in Singapore and has two adult kids and two teenage grandsons.
